Scott Bartels joined our EmergeOrtho Triad Region team in 2007. He is an experienced occupational therapist, specializing as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). He primarily cares for patients with injuries and conditions involving the hand, wrist, and elbow. Scott he has been a CHT since 2004. His patients have often undergone surgery and range from pediatric to geriatric stages of life.
Scott’s clinical interests include tendon injuries, crush injuries, burns, and all types of wound care. He strives to deliver quality, patient-centered care identifying his patient’s needs and goals. Scott enjoys fabricating custom splints for his patients and assisting his patients in regaining functional use of their upper extremities.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, coworkers, and within his community is important to Scott. He is actively involved in community youth sport programs. He also enjoys supporting his community Arts programs and other local events.
