Leah Trammell, PTA
Leah Trammell is a physical therapist assistant who joined Greensboro Orthopaedics in 2014. Leah’s desire to serve those in need and her attraction to the profession of physical therapy led her to pursue a career as a physical therapist assistant. She primarily cares for patients with spine injuries and conditions but also thoroughly values working with all types of patients.
While attending GTCC, Leah had the opportunity to intern at an outpatient Cone Health rehabilitation center, at Forsyth Medical Center, and here at Greensboro Orthopaedics. She states the welcoming, knowledgeable, & dedicated team at Greensboro Orthopaedics along with the opportunity to care for a diverse of population of patients is what convinced her to strive to become a part of Greensboro Orthopaedics.
As a once injured athlete, Leah understands how difficult the journey to recovery can be. She strives to listen to her patients’ needs and develop an individualized treatment approach for each patient. Leah enjoys watching her patients’ progress in their recovery. Leah’s compassionate disposition and commitment to her patients is irreplaceable.
Her professional interests include McKenzie Method, Graston Technique, and Myofascial Release. She believes community involvement is important and values her experiences volunteering at the Special Olympics.
