Ginny joined our team in 2014 with over 30 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. She specializes as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and is certified in Sensory Integration. Ginny predominantly cares for patients with injuries & conditions involving the hand, wrist, and elbow as she has been a CHT since 1998. Her patients have often undergone surgery and range from pediatric to geriatric stages of life.
Ginny has always preferred working with patients who suffer from upper extremity (hand, wrist, & elbow) diagnoses. She strives to deliver quality patient-centered care identifying her patient’s needs & goals to develop individualized treatment plans. She believes that actively involving a patient in their care is crucial to a positive treatment outcome. Ginny’s experience and supportive demeanor allows her patients to have confidence in themselves and their treatment plan.
Although Ginny has a noteworthy amount of experience and expertise, she continues to actively participate in continuing education endeavors. She appreciates the ability to collaborate with her colleagues at EmergeOrtho.
Not only does Ginny enthusiastically care for her patients while in the office, her service carries over into her community. She enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering with a variety of organizations. Ginny also likes making fused glass jewelry and playing the clarinet, in her spare time.
