Upper Extremity (Hand, Wrist, & Elbow) Care

Specializing in Comprehensive Diagnosis & Treatment of the Upper Extremity

Greensboro Orthopaedics specializes in providing quality, comprehensive, and patient-centered care of the hand, wrist, & elbow. Upper extremity injuries and conditions often limit a person's ability to function normally.  These types of injuries and conditions often affect a person's ability to button their clothes, open a jar, create artwork, operate machinery, and many more activities.

Caring for the hand, wrist, and elbow is highly specialized field. The upper extremity surgeons, Dr. William Gramig, III & Dr. Fred Ortmann, IV, at Greensboro Orthopaedics, are board certified with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. They have also earned subspecialty certificates in surgery of the hand by demonstrating qualifications in hand surgery beyond those expected of other orthopaedic surgeons. Patients suffering from upper extremity injuries and conditions may require surgery. Depending on the diagnosis and other factors, treatment may include specialized therapy, medication, injections, and/or surgery. Our physicians diagnose and customize treatment options for each patient to maximize their recovery.

We provide services to patients in and around Greensboro, NC including areas such as High Point and Burlington, NC
